This county has enough grocery stores to serve its inhabitants. The appeal of this wonderful county, is the opposite of what overbuilding produces.

There needs to be a clear plan for development in Oconee County. I am not opposed to business and growth, but this proposed development is a significant change from the previous plans and is not wanted by the residents. Let's keep balance in Oconee between interest of the residents and interest of business

As a resident of Oconee Crossing for 21 years, we knew when we purchased our home here that this was part of a B-1 community development project. We object to this request to now change the rules and rezone to allow for greedy commercialization at one of the counties busiest and most dangerous intersections. If you allow this to go through, there will be no end to to the unwanted overdevelopment of Oconee County as we know and love it today.

I live in the adjacent Oconee Crossing subdivision and bought my house aware of the B-1 zoning next to my property line. That was part of the initial design of the neighborhood. I strongly oppose rezoning to B-2 which detracts from the isolated charm that drew our family to live in oconee county.

The rezone is a departure from the planned use of that property. Also, currently approved commercial projects makes the new plan for the property redundant.

The town has already grown so much from when i was a little kid and i grew up right down the road from T’s corner. This does not need to happen. It will only make me move further away from oconee.
