I have live in Oconee County my whole life. I grew up hair, played in the woods here, went to school here, and worshipped in churches here. I am no progressive, but I care about local communities. True residents of Oconee County should not want to destroy it; only people of greed and dark hearts would want to build new shopping centers, preferring money to love, profit to patriotism.

This atrocity needs to be built in a properly zoned area that is NOT adjacent or close to ANY exhausting residential communities.

Please don’t make Oconee County into all the other surrounding large cities. I’m all for progress, but not in the terms of making a small town into a big city!

I believe the area to build facilities is not on the two lane highway. It would create more traffic than the road could efficiently handle. The solution to that is build a larger road. This creates more construction that the communities would have to endure. If These items have been asked for then consider moving it to the stretch of road that is already on highway78. The road is already built to accommodate the traffic and it would keep the commercial industry out of the communities. There could still be commercial growth but it would not be in the housing areas.

We DO NOT desire this development in this area. Too close to one of the oldest churches in October Co.
