Our family lives off of Clotfelter Road. The added car volume from this development will make it exceedingly difficult to turn left or right onto Hog Mountain Road off of Clotfelter. Our county does not need this large development on this road in this part of the county. Please vote NO on approving this re-zone development.

The implications of this rezoning are significantly detrimental to our county. Most important are those with the closest residents and traffic but also personal and property safety. With the current explanations we've already seen an increase in traffic accidents and crime in the immediate areas but also more trolling through neighborhoods by criminals looking for opportunities. Please consider the direct and indirect impacts of such a development.

I grew up in Gwinnett and massive commercial growth killed Gwinnett. Please do NOT let greed for money destroy our community. I left Gwinnett to escape that life.

I fully agree - rezoning goes against the Comprehensive County Plan, and our Board has a duty to consider and balance the rights and quality of life of our residents and prioritize them above a 3rd party desire for profit and gain.

Ask anyone that’s moved from Gwinnett why they came here to Oconee County? Ask them what Gwinnett has become… the schools the crime. The traffic. That’s not what residents of Oconee want !

We moved here largely in part for the privacy this area afforded our neighborhood. The thought of having big box stores, fast food drive throughs, and all the increased traffic and crime it will bring to my area makes me sick. We will likely sell if this B2 zoning goes through, and I shouldn’t have to pack up my family and move away from a needless monstrosity that would literally be in the backyards of my neighbors and friends.

I didn’t move to my new house in Oconee county to live in this sort of environment and setting. I feel this would ruin our county and cause our local family owned stores such as striplings to suffer. I disagree with this in it’s entirety.

My husband and I grew up in Gwinnett County. We moved from Gwinnett to Oconee to get away from development, traffic, crime, a horrible system, etc. Everywhere you turn around another neighborhood or business development is being slammed in.. The development going on in Oconee has to be reined in or it will easily become just as bad as Gwinnett. Growth is inevitable, but it can be done responsibly and this planned business development is not it.
