Stop the NBP Proposed Hazards and Comprehensive Zoning By-Laws

As a propertyowner and rate payer of a property in NBP I am vehemently opposed to both the Official Plan and the process that is being followed.

There is no rush. Please allow full consultation. Clarity is important.

As a property owner in the village of Tobermory, Ontario I have concerns that these proposed changes will adversely impact our property upon which changes were rendered decades ago. Please consider a consultative process with property owners prior to implementing so many changes to current regs and bylaws.

Council has no right to " railroad" through this legislation which is vehemently opossed by many ratepayers.

Your constituents are calling on you to represent you! do not vote these changes in!

There is definitely a lack of transparency with the process, questions and answers. Questions posed in meetings or email are sloughed off with no answers and no follow-up. There is something missing in this democratic process.

Please consider our property value and insurance cost if this red line is passed.

We object to what the new laws would be. We should be in control of our own land as of when we bought. Can not change the contract.

I am strongly opposed to restrictions being placed on legally permitted Northern Bruce Peninsula private property.

When will this council start supporting its constituents and stop trying to undermine all that we have worked so hard for! Enough!

if you alloed people to buy and build on these properties and collect taxes then you should leave things the way they are i dont want to find out my property is worthless on account of so called smart people changing bylaws either that or buy us all out at fair market value then you can tear up the highway at Wiarton and let the penninsula revert to nature

As tax payer in Northern Bruce, I am appalled at the total indifference and lack of sensitivity being displayed by the "elected officials" It makes me wonder what the real agenda is. I strongly oppose the proposed by-law amendments.

I oppose the proposed changes because they will affect the value of our property. I hope council says no or at least postpones the approval until summer.

I can't believe that the NBP Council is even considering moving ahead with the proposed hazards and comprehensive zoning by laws after all the well reasoned arguments against it that have been presented at the community meetings on the subject. This shows nothing less than an effort to deceive the property owners and ignore our best interests.
