I am disgusted by this attempt by local government to exert yet more control over our PRIVATE PROPERTY! Be aware, Northern Bruce council, that this is an election year, and we will not tamely sit back and tolerate your power grab! Nor do we take kindly to the Biosphere people butting in to tell us what we may or may not do on our own land! So very, VERY tired of interfering government busybodies!

It is literally a crime to take what doesn't belong to you. This is nothing more than government theft. They are proposing to take away land that has been in some families for generations. Retirees and their families losing the values of their properties. Properties that people have worked so hard to obtain and keep. It's nothing more than theft. Plain and simple. Disgraceful......

If these zoning changes reduce the values of properties the cost to the municipality of compensating those landowners will be monumental. And these zoning provisions are contrary to the purpose of the Biosphere which includes supporting integration of populations into the environment.

This should be halted until the by-law zoning plan can be reviewed in more detailed and property owners able to explore options and express concerns. A plan this large requires time and input by all stakeholders involved, Including property owners.

I am a tax paying property owner in Jackson's Cove of the Northern Bruce Peninsula. I object to and appose the proposed amendments to the zoning by-law and Hazard Mapping as drafted. I also respectfully direct that the council of Norther Bruce Peninsula to decline adoption of both proposed amendments to the Official Plan at this time.

I feel that someone there has sat at a desk with a flat map and put a green line right up Widgeon Cove Road making all properties in an area EH, that person should be made to take a walk of the properties as it would take a 50 foot tsunami to put a flood anywhere near my home, septic or well, so this line is definitely incorrect.
