Stop the NBP Proposed Hazards and Comprehensive Zoning By-Laws

I also object to the proposed Comprehensive Zoning By-Law and Hazard Mapping as drafted and urge our current council to respect the wishes of their constituency, rate-payers and landowners and decline the adoption of the the plan and proposed amendments. Furthermore, this issue will be the sole issue that determines how I vote in the coming election. No councillor who votes in favor of this plan will have my support or vote in the next election and I will encourage others to take a similar position.

I object to the COMPREHENSIVE ZONING BY-LAW and HAZARD MAPPING as drafted and direct that council of the MUNICIPALITY OF NORTHERN BRUCE PENINSULA decline adoption of both and the proposed amendments to its Official Plan at this time.

I have sent several letters in the past regarding this proposal, have attended information sessions, and will state once again that we very much oppose it.

As a summer resident, I would like more time to full understand the impact of the comprehensive zoning by-law and the Hazard mapping.

The electorate of North Bruce deserve to be heard by those who promised to represent them!

Removal of property owners rights by municipalities and pushed by non elected officials, conservation authorities etc.

The proposed by-law changes is subjecting the owners and taxpayers of our municipality to undue hardships, expenses and many anxieties that are blatantly unfair and unjustifiable. For God's sake do the right thing and shelve these changes!

Politicians - listen to your constituents!!!!!!!

This proposed bylaw is extremely harmful to the work, enjoyment and investment of the land owners of North Bruce Peninsula. It's utterly incomprehensible that you would even consider adopting this. I object strenously.

Believe there are flaws in this policy

I object to section 3.2 of the Feb 2018 Draft Comprehensive Zoning By-Laws. The EH set-back requirements are extreme and impose on cottage owners unnecessary restrictions as well as significant financial exposure and reduced ability to sell. Section 3.2 should not be adopted.

I object to these proposed bylaw and official plan changes that would devalue and place unnecessary restrictions on my property.

Only heard news through the grapevine. Attended meeting at Tobermory in DEC. and have not received any word of plans from gov't. I have owned vacant waterfront land for 50 years and now when I can afford to build cottage may not be allowed. These leftie plans must be stopped.
