Stop the NBP Proposed Hazards and Comprehensive Zoning By-Laws

I do not agree with the proposed changes to the bylaws.

I do not agree with the proposed changes to the bylaws. The red line mapping is incorrect. Property owners deserve to be heard, values of land defended and policies made in our interests.

I feel both the residents and people who visit the Bruce Peninsula will look forward and do what’s best for such a beautiful place. By passing a zoning law that will restrict future Bldg. and possibly deflate property values is not in our families best interest. We have survived 3 generations in the Bruce Peninsula and by working together and saying no to moving forward and accepting the zoning by laws in question.

A delay till summer when all the population is back to learn and evaluate seems like such a simple solution that one wonders what the issue actrually is? It's a shame that people have to go through so much fear and aggrevation for no discernable purpose. However, when it comes right down to it I'm sure our elected council will do the right thing and follow the will of the people. Afterall, who else is there to listen to?

I object to this bylaw and I want the council to stop this authoritarian behaviour.

I have to ask how this reclassification helps the North Bruce in any way. I was told that if we contacted the planner we would receive a response. Did as told, no response received. Pathetic.

We too have concerns about how this will affect our property value in the future.

Council refuses to listen to its constituents, the majority of whom have spoken loud and clear against this proposed plan for NBP. I am worried about property devaluation, increased insurance costs and outright appropriation of people’s land.

The Council does not have to push this through at this time. They can say no until all concerns are dealt with or refuse to pass at all.

The government is there to work for the people , not to cause problems and issues and will cause use problems. I object to the bylaw proposal.

We have serious concerns re: the devaluation of our property and/or possible increases in our property home insurance fees with the proposed changes to the Official Plan. We are not happy with how this has been conducted especially as the changes to our property seem to be cased by the lack of a Colvert allowing Saddles creek to run off, instead it is expanding the EH zone.

This has been a most difficult process to sort out & follow -THE OPPOSITE OF TRANSPARENT- especially given the timing of the meetings, while cottagers are absent. It seems that municipality staff in the past screwed up & now you're dumping the consequences on the owners with great financial implications.
