I am a ex student of KDHS. There is no need to change the name just a waste of parents money changing uniforms for what community gain?

My husband and I are both ex students of K.D.H.S and proud to say both our children are stundents of the school. I would like to see the school keeps its name as this is part of our and many other long term residents of Kununurras history. The cost of the change could be better spent better on more resources. I also as a parent think this would out of pocket parents as new school uniforms would be required.
My opinion is “why fix something that isn’t broken”

Please do not change the name. The community of Kununurra do not want it changed. Use the money to provide better support and educational programmes for the students, and things that are actually needed. By changing the name, you are disregarding the historical and family connections to the school under it’s current name of KDHS.
