I keep my horses along this road and hack them out here. If the quarry went ahead I would have to move them as they need a quiet environment in which to live. This would also mean loss of income for the yard where I keep them and the upset of being moved for my horses.

This road is already a difficult road as there are no passing places for when you meet another car. Having huge lorries rumble up and down it makes no sense at all. Quarries should be up their own private road and away from local residents.

I drive this road twice daily, it's bad enough meeting cars and vans, but trucks would be a nightmare to pass.

The anxiety (over vulnerable residents and local wildlife) already caused by this proposal surely outweighs the potential benefits of a quarry in this area.

I use this road frequently and don't want to come across lorries as there are some sharp bends and not enough passing places.
