Concerned citizens and residents of Siem Reap would like to bring to the Provincial Governor's attention the exploitation of khmer children in a scam that involves coercing tourists to buy baby formula, then selling it back to the shop.
Recently, the children involved have become more violent toward those tourists who are wise to the scam, and we are concerned not only for the safety and well-being of the children being exploited by adults to run this scam, but also for the safety of tourists and the image of Siem Reap as a safe place for tourists from all over the world to visit.
Reaching this level of support has been a heavy experience given the reality of what these children are facing on the streets. It is draining to keep pushing against this exploitation but seeing the scale of concern from others keeps me moving forward.

Sick of being harassed every time I walk down the street. Something has to change before someone gets actually hurt.

Make it stop. It ruins the whole experience for people coming to visit our beautiful country.

Total scam. I saw a lady take the milk back from a kid right in front of the tourists. Police need to do something.

This is so heartbreaking. Those poor kids are being used and it makes visiting the temples so uncomfortable.
