I am no expert in civil engineeering but it took me 5 minutes to wonder how anyone who is an expert could even consider this to be a serious design. With busses crossing each other's path and pedestrians crossing both both paths to get to the street, it a disaster (and lawsuit) waiting to happen. Any public official who voted for this should resign due to not serving the public's interest to their best ability.

This project is being forced down our throats - too many ties to outside influences and these particluar council members have succumbed to the pressure. Very sad for the city of Novato. Novato is being treated as a dumping ground for added affordable housing which we have fulfilled, transit hubs, etc no thought to city or downtown planning or safety issues.

This new revised bus terminal plan is a bad idea all the way around. Cutting down of more trees and adding more pavement is just so unecessary, so big and so permanent!!! NO NO NO!!!

Novato downtown resident. The stakeholder committee had serious reservations about the safety of the proposed designs and were not presented with alternatives to the center platform weave design

I believe this is ill conceived and proper notification and discusion with the residents and taxpayers has not been done. Stop the planning for this oversized and unsafe bus stop now.
