The city of Novato, Marin Transit and Golden Gate Tranist did not even consider the impact of the start of the SMART train on this bus stop. Certainly the 71 Route bus that runs back and forth from Novato to San Rafael, a major route out of this bus stop, will be see a reduction in ridership are we wasted $600M building SMART.

The unanimously voted for, alternate side platform design is the preferred upgrade to this site. It stays within the current footprint, does not fell beloved Redwood trees, maintains traffic flow in established patterns and the scale is in line with current Novato aesthetic. NO CENTER PLATFORM!!!

We live two blocks from this bus station and are very against the new one being proposed. It will be very disruptive to traffic and pedestrian safety, and to the entire neighborhood. It will NOT be an enhancement in any way to the "entrance" to our downtown.,

this proposed bus stop is dangerrous. There is no need for it and the cost is ridulous. We don't want it, need it or welcome it. The CC has their own agenda and it has nothing to do with the citizens who pay the taxes.
