STOP THE MAPLE LAKE SEPTAGE SITE !!!

Why can't those who dream up these horrific ideas - to contaminate the land and livelihood of human and animal beings. Wake up and really think about what the reprecussions this decision will have on the environment, on health risks and our existence. Stop the Maple Lake Septage Site!

Contamination of any sort anywhere is inhumane to all species of life form. When considering these things please take a deep breath and think would you want this in your backyard. If not then do not do it. Bonnie Freeman

Nobody should be exposed to contaminated water.

It is our right to have clean air & water & please stop destroying our environment with toxic waste.

Please stop destroying our fresh water lakes with toxic waste. A better alternative is to bury the sludge deep in the ground, and mix /cover it with red dessert clay. California Earth Minerals. IOMIN

It's just wrong.

Not just that this will affect us directly it is not a responsible way to deal with waste. As Canadian's how can we care for the environment footprint, if we cannot take care of our own backyard.

Disgusting. It'll start at Maple and contaminate all the surrounding lakes.

Our well was contaminated at a set back of 185 metres This stream at 120 Metres doesn't stand a chance We lived with this hell for 3 years The lingering effects will last for many more This site has the potential to last for generations if Elstone has his way Haliburton, Ontario

Putting a Septage a Dump anywhere near a lake lacks common sense. Please do not proceed and do not approve this application. Whatever happened to common sense?

To the Welch Family I am sorry you had to fight your battle alone. Thank you so much for your support, information and suggestions in trying to shut down this operator. The Ministry of the Environment should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this horror show to continue.

We cannot take our clean lakes for granted. This type of abuse of the system must be stopped at all cost. Measures need be taken now to preserve both the drinking and recreational water supply for future generations.

The Welch's have my support in stopping this Septage Site.

Please do not let these people waste any more lakes. Please stop this.
