Surely we've seen enough environmental damage from other sites to know that this application should be stopped.

I am against the use of this property for disposal of sewage.
Why are they not using local municipal sewage facilities?

My personal opinion after looking at the Sewage Disposal Site at 10538 Highway 118, Lot26, Concession 3, is that with the amount of Wetlands & creeks flowing off this property has no other route to run other than to Our Maple Lake! Shit does flow down hill! Stop the contamination, before its to late!

Consider a properly planned/engineered site with in-vessel composting to process the bio-solids and render them safe instead of dumping them in a field.

One glimpse of the spring runoff coursing through the area and entering the lake should be enough to stop this septage dump site which will contaminate the groundwater and the lakes.

This location is far too sensitive to allow a septage dump site to compromise the balance of the ecosystem.

With heavy rains & spring thaws tiny creeks & streams swell and there will be waste runoff affecting the Gull River system

Poor site location - one intense storm and surface runoff could send raw sewage directly into Maple Lake and the whole Gull River system

I do not want this Septage Dump Site to go ahead. We do not want seepage of waste water into our water shed.

The potential harm that will come from this septic waste site will be catastrophic to both humans and the wild life that depend on pristine water for their survival. There is always an alternative solution to situations such as this. The protection of our environment takes a much higher priority.

Suggested reading for all, would be world famous author Malcolm Gladwell's book "Blink".......this doesn't need a whole lot more analsysis, it's quite obviously not a good plan.

Stopping this project is critical to ensure environmental safety for the water that current and future cottagers enjoy.

The application for a septage site with Wetlands to the South and on the North just 1.6kms from Maple Lake and creeks running into the lake seems totally absurd
