This is terrible -- smack dab in the middle of wetlands and downstream to residents.

Please think about the impact of this septage site on the residents and visitors to this beautiful lake, as well the quality of water, vegetation and wildlife. The protocols for disposing of human waste needs be be addressed, looking for viable safe alternatives. Hard to believe this still happens in our province. Time for change before more damage is done.

At this time of climate change we need to protect our waterways more than ever. This dumping is totally unacceptable

I am shocked the location was even considered given the wetlands on the property. Extremely irresponsible.

I am a very concerned resident that lives downhill from a very very close vicinity of this proposed field. After many hours of research and weighing both pros and cons to this issue I have come to the conclusion that this is absolutly not an appropriate site for the sewage dump. Why would a dump site be allowed to be put in the most dense residential population in our small community? A sewage dump site would never be passed to be put in the middle of haliburton, or minden why our community? Is it realized as to how threatened local year round and yes cottage residents as well feel about their properties being potentially contaminated. When looking for a home I chose to buy in a safe area I did not choose to buy a property near a sewage field, as I would not have. I feel the residents of this community should have that say and choice. Would you want this in your back yard?

My cottage is at the bottom of this down hill side of this project. My drilled well is at risk of contamination. There must be another way.

Halliburton County desperately needs a sewage treatment facility that will serve the whole county. Dumping of human sewage waste on open land should never happen. This is not a third world country.

This council of Algonguin Highlands needs to sit up...stand up...smarten up and represent and help the people who give them a pay cheque every week....other than that....I have no opinion!

As a year-round home owner on 12
Mile Lake, we implore you not to approve this sewage dump sight, as it
poses a great risk for contamination
to groundwater, and lake to lake runoff
in the region.

It's unthinkable this permit application would be considered in the first place. It's clear from the outset this is a bad idea and can only result in disaster.
