The City Council and Park Board need to be removed. It is a one party system that is out of control.
Minneapolis needs Commonsense.

This is not an acceptable plan. There are other options that could minimize the congestion such as widening intersections, staggering lights, lighted crosswalks.

Please rethink. We have had close calls when crossing James on 51st due to the bridge rise. And a 4-way stop, which would help mitigate the blind spot at that intersection, would make congestion worse than what you are trying to solve for. Thank you for listening.

I have congestion concerns as well as the environmental impact of even more traffic on 50th. Please leave our beautiful parkway alone. Thank you.

This is a terrible plan.
We will no doubt see an auto vs pedestrian injury.
Let’s stick with the status quo.

We are very concerned about this proposal moving forward. Areas like emergency vehicle access, significant increase in traffic including James St & W 53rd st, and very unclear as to what problem You are trying to solve, and a very poor use of tax money and creating more problems than you know. We pay significant property and state taxes and you are making us feel under valued in the process that you are doing.

I’ve owned a home within a block of W Minnehaha Pkway for 25 yrs. Park Board’s plan is ill conceived and a danger to public safety, especially children, in Lynnhurst neighborhood. Listen to residents. Leave the Parkway open to cars.

If it isn't broke why do anything to a roadway that is fine just the way it is and was intended to be

As a long time resident of the south Minneapolis who visits the Parkway and the surrounding lakes area on a regular basis, I add my name to this petition, and hope it will be taken to heart!

The park board and CAC have been unresponsive to community concerns about this proposal. Poor leadership at the top and a sense of " we [Park Board) can do anything we want" . I agree with all the concerns in this petition. This should go to the tax payers for a vote
