I am not in favor of any changes to the traffic flow of Minnehaha Parkway in Minneapolis. Please listen to the citizens you are representing.

Leave our beautiful parkway alone! If it ain't broke, and it ain't, don't "fix" it!!

As a long time resident of the southwest metro who visits the Lynnhurst neighborhood and the surrounding lakes area on a regular basis, I add my name to this petition, and hope it will be taken to heart!

Streets were designed to move cars. The parkway is not only an access road to the parks, but also to our homes. Please respect the wishes of those whom you represent.

Kids crossing 51st & James is not safe as it is. Please do not direct 1,900 additional cars per day near Burroughs School.

Keep the parkway as it was intended and don’t create more traffic in our neighborhoods.

Just leave the streets alone. They're fine. I've lived here 21 years.

Please do not damage our parkway. The parkway is an important part of the city both for transportation and character.

I live further south on James but still north of 54th. I have significant concerns that the intended route to Minnehaha Pkwy will simply turn in to a route directly to 54th. It is a much quicker path to Lyndale. Sunday morning church traffic on James between 50th and 54th has only increased and stop signs are not slowing “roll through” traffic.

Stop this insanity!

These plans will create additional confusion for emergency vehicles, that already have trouble finding addresses on the parkway!

Please leave Minnehaha Parkway as it is. I moved to Minneapolis because of the Parkway system right after college and have lived within 1-3 blocks of the Parkway my entire adult life (30 years in 3 different houses). I run along it everyday and walk/bike at least once or twice a week. I drive the Parkway because it is a beautiful way to get to my destination.

Our neighborhood is working fine as it is. I don't see the need for this change.

Ill-conceived plan, just makes no sense.

There is nothing wrong with the current layout. The Mpls Park Board and broader city council just dream up things to waste taxpayer money on.

Please protect our children on these already busy streets
