Another 'solution' in search of a non-existent problem. I walk / bike / run that stretch all the time and it seems fine as-is; certainly better than shoving a bunch of traffic between the school and the church.

Perhaps you should focus on projects that are in progress now, such as the 28th Ave bridge remodel !!

Please don’t make this change to the parkway. It is a wonderful and unique area. While it can be busy at times, this is because it is so used and appreciated. Think about installing a roundabout but don’t do traffic diversions. Thank you!

The proposal to remove the bridge near Lynhurst Park building is unacceptable. It will create dangerous conditions on James avenue. The city is arbitrarily damaging our neighborhood for no significant benefit. You are going to endanger my children so you can put in a raft landing on the creek?!! Absurd.

The Parkway needs to be preserved as it is. It's beautiful yet very functional as it has been for over 100 years. All one has to do is look at the traffic mess that has occurred along Lyndale between the creek and 58th, since it was changed to single lanes, to realize the incompetence of the current group of planners.

Ignorant plans that will greatly affect safety of children in the neighborhood. Please listen the people who actually live here!

I live a block away and have a daughter that attends Burroughs, diverting traffic around the school is a big mistake. Furthermore, there are far more important things to spend my tax dollars on.

This plan by the Mpls. Park Board shows it is at best ignorant of the impact this will have on the neighborhoods along the creek. At worst, it shows that they don't care and simply want to cater to cyclists and people who are recreating as more important than the residents affected.

This is unnecessary change to a beautiful parkway. I drive this section of the Minnehaha parkway at least 2 times a day. This idea that there is a more inherent danger to pedestrians on foot or bikes then anywhere else is ridiculous. PLEASE DO NOT change the parkway. It is not needed and will adversely affect those of us that live in the neighborhood.

The new plan would create ma y more traffic problems than it would solve. Please consider the safety Implicstions of rerouting traffic through neighborhoods.
