Sad, the ones it truly effect have no say. People will get hurt or worse with the current plan. Shame on the CAC, Planner and City Council for even considering the it

I am a south Mpls neighbor and Mt Olivet member. My family drives from near Pearl Park to Mt Olivet a minimum of four times weekly for a variety of activities. The proposed changes involving James Ave are unsafe, impractical and completely incompatible with an already busy street used heavily by young children.

This plan does not make sense and seems completely unnecessary. It will cause more accidents, more congestion and higher taxes for residents in the area that are going to feel the negative impacts. Please do not move forward with this poorly thought out plan.

As Burroughs parents who have spent quit a bit of time in this area during rush hour we can’t in good conscience stay silent on this topic. This area is already congested and hard to navigate, closing off the parkway and sending traffic to James (where all the school buses pick up and drop off, by the way) seems irresponsible and unnecessary. Please listen to constituents, really hear their concerns, and reconsider.

This ludicrous proposal is a “solution” looking for a problem.. Nothing is broken. Leave it alone.

I strongly oppose this. It will make life more difficult for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers alike.

Listen to the residents who live closest to the changes you want to make. They understand the implications much better than the planners do.

This Park Board has proposed a ridiculous plan that does not serve the neighborhood.

This is all expensive nonsense Poorly conceived and poorly planned. The traffic impact study for instance was done in July There is a lot of bike traffic in July that does not exist in Colder months.I attended these meetings and ended up completely frustrated as it is obvious that the parkway is going to do as they please

The petition is clearly stated and very well grounded. The plan for revision is appropriate and has lacked any evidence of a demand and no disclosure of an impact statement or budget.

Please leave the parkway as it is. We can do better with signage and lighting but closing parts of the parkway won’t make us safer and may actually cause more problems.

When the first child is killed will the death certificate read "Negligent homicide by Bourn and Arvidson"? Forcing more traffic to a school bus zone is a terrible idea!

Please, do not reroute traffic to 51st St. This is a grave idea. There are a lot of children, bikers, animals, and cars now! This has the potential to change the neighborhood in many ways. Cars already speed down JAMES!
