Clearly, if the public school system wasn't so broken , parents would not have their children in private schools or homeschooling their children!! Public education is not about the children, it's about the $$$$. Common Core is a perfect example of the $$$$ pit! Someone is making a mint, the students are getting shafted. We need common sense people making decisions for our classrooms! Glad my children are grown, but will fight to the end for my grand childrens' rights, to a BETTER EDUCATION!!

My 2 boys attend a private Christian School in Zellwood and are doing real well in their academics. My youngest just last year with the Scholarship and my oldest has been receiving this opportunity since 2005. We're so blessed that both of our children are straight A students and with this Scholarship they are heading for great success!! Thanks Step Up for this great opportunity for my kids!

The Step up for students program has been a life saver, I was worried I was going to have to get a loan or something to find his education because I refuse to put him in the failing public school system. If the school system want failing so badly we wouldn't need programs like this. It's time to take a closer look at our public schools instead of blaming this program for stepping up for the best interest ofor children.

I pay my private school tuition via my property taxes! I should have the choice what's best for my children. If you were doing your jobs right in the first place public schools wouldn't be such a bad place to send my kids. But they have to worry more about being beaten up stabbed jumped in the parking lot than they do about the education.

I don't know what I would have done with out this scholarship program. It truly is a blessing to my children! If public schools would have better standards and take care of their children and teachers then we wouldn't need these types of programs. But, unfortunately the public school system is failing our children's needs.

This Scholarship has the Child's interest at hand, by allowing lower income families send their kids to a school that meets their needs. If this scholarship programs goes away, Florida will see a decrease in progress with these students.

Step up for students should not be taken away. It is a helpful tool for most families that would like their kids to go to a school that is A rated, and takes pride in educating their students. This is unfair to the kids of these schools, because it shows that these people who are filing this lawsuit have no care for the students. They really only care about their pockets. Do not take away the scholarships!!!!

My son went to public school, he was bullied, in forth grade he left the school and was found 30min. away from the school his teacher never noticed he didn't came back! the school is a c school and she had more kids than she could handle! they wanted to send him to a school inside a hospital his got ADD but besides that his a quit kid. His grades were awfull D, F supposedly! I looked for other options and found out about step up :) I enrolled him in a Christian Private school who helped him so much he's been on the honor roll for two years!
