Stop The Lawsuit Against Florida's Tax Credit Scholarships (Step Up For Students)

I am highly greatful for the step up scholarhip because it allowed my daughter to attend a school that taught her to read in a month.

There shouldnt be any reason to take away scholarships from our students. It allows our students to have a better chance at a better education. Instead of targeting at students and their educations, government should put their attention to safety or other situations that actually need attention.

Its a privalege for my child to go to a christian school and learn about the values and principals of a good moral standars. We have the right as parents to raise our children in private schools with good education.

I am so thanful that my daughter got approved for the scholarship,at her home public school she was getting bullied and it got to a point that a had to call the miami dade police,so thanks to the scholarship she is now in a wonderful,respectful,bullied free and drug free school:)

Stepupforstudent has helped me a great deal for my son who was able to attend prep school..if it wasnt for step up there is no way I would be able to offer my child this oppertunity..

I normally don't comment on things or sign petition but this one is the most ridiculous and unfair thing I have ever heard. Because of this program, parents with low income can now afford the best private schools for their kids and now they r trying to cut it off? Does that mean that our kids don’t deserve the best education?

Step up has been paying for my two kids,so I support the petition integrally.

Im so gratefull and lucky that I have this scolarship , im a single mother of 5 kids and i dont have money to pay for a private school where they can learn and be in a different enviroment thanks step up for students.

As much as we think that academics are trully important in life, as Christians we believe that God is first. Without Step-Up for Students, our children would have to attend a school were God does not exist (by decreet), where only the State decides what and when a child must learn, even if it's contrary to our family's faith, traditions and moral precepts. All these associations suing the Tax Credit Scholarship want to impose how our children should be formed, much like any totalitarian organization. Since they are not to financially profit from this lawsuit, then one must ask: What is their real intention or who is behind this attempt to our freedom of choice? God bless all of the businesses that fund this wonderful program, our family and many others will be forever thankful.

I love the program my daughter are doing so great in school

I am so thankful for Step up for many reasons. The most important reason is that I don't want my child to have to live off the government. Step up is a way of giving my chold an education so she can and will go to college and get a degree so she can support herself. Not the government. The sad thing is that we as parents should not have to have a law passed to raise our own children. We live on the land of the free and the brave wher it is our constitutional right to pursue happiness. The happiness of having strong education so when my chil becomes an adult, she can stand on her own two feet instead of the crutches of the government.

Every child deserves the chance to succeed!

I already have a child in college with 2 more on 10th and 4th grade. My children deserve the best and this scholarship is the best educational opportunities for them.
