SUFS has allowed my children to have an individualized education in a Christian environment. It has proven to be the best thing for my children.

I am outraged and disgusted! I have 8 kids on this scholarship and I can't believe anyone who is in the education field would want to destroy such a wonderful program.

This is an outrage that the school board is against children having a better learning experience and have a chance at becoming successful. My child is in a private Christian school that there are actually 10 kids in his class and the teacher has enough time to spend with everyone. This scholarship is a huge blessing for me and my son. The education he recieves now will help him in his future.

My daughter is a gifted student and the Step Up Scholarship has allowed her placement into a wonderful school where I she will not be left behind. As a single parent, going to school and struggling to maintain my 2 children Step-Up for Students has granted us with an option that works for us all. My daughter receives the attention she needs as a student and extra curricular activities are part of the programs as well. All of the above mentioned are the things I cherish about the program and the endless possibilities it will have for my daughter.

I'm shocked that with all the opportunities children receive with other scholarships, programs, and grants that this would be under attack! If FL teachers made their public schools worthy to go to, this single mom (myself) would never have to take advantage of such an amazing opportunity and THANK GOD for Step Up for Students exists!

This Scholarship Program is so important to the kids that need it the most. Our Foster child would not have been able to attend a small private school without it. She is getting the one on one attention and time that she needs and was not getting in a large public school. Her grades and attitudes are so much better now. She loves her teacher and her school. She loves that she can pray and learn about God in the Christian school. These kids have been dealt a terrible hand in life from no fault of their own. They have lost so much at such a young innocent age. This Scholarship may be the best thing that has ever happened to them in their entire life. PLEASE do not take this away too.

As a registered voter, & a parent of children that participates & needs programs like SUFS, I am deeply disappointed to hear you are considering suing the state to shut it down. This program means a lot to myself & all the other participating parents. If you are parents, you will understand that only you should decide where your child goes to school, no one else.

This is all about brainwashing it children with the liberal agenda to turn America into a socialist nation. If any children get to go to a Christian school then that's one more that poses a threat to their cause in the future. They want to totally stop any chance of resistance by forcing it children to go to public schools. In a socialist system only the rich will have good education, our children will be taught to wait on them hand and foot and to never question them regardless of whether what they say is right or wrong. Please get everyone you can to sign this!!!

If not for this scholarship my daughter would not be able to attend the private school and would be stuck in these disasters we call public school. The thought of that is terrifying to the point of tears . I swore my daughter will never see a public school and without this scholarship I would have to do something drastic like homeschool her. This program is wonderful and it should be left alone.

My children attend a Catholic school from kindergarten and I so grateful for this scholarship. Without it I would not be able to afford it. Why bother with something that is benefiting so many children. It's money going to a great use. Worry about getting the public schools safer and free from gun violence, bullying and drugs. Where is the "Lotto" Money that is suppose to go to public schools. Why don't you focus on that? Have you thought where you will put the 67,000 children that are in the scholarship program? Public schools are over populated as it is right now. Leave these children where they are and worry about making a better future for all the children.
