step up scholarship is amusing program. me and my daughter are so grateful for it , she can go to a private school that she has been wanting to go to and because of this program it made it possible for her to go.

Public schools focus on money, private schools focus on the need and quality education of the child! Leave the scholarships alone!

My boys are on the step up for students scholarship and without it they wouldn't have the opportunity to go to a Christian private school.

Children have the right to be educated in privet school

This program offers hope to families. What a wonderful program. I am thankful for this scholarship being available this year for my son.

Please don't take these scholarships away!! My Son would have never graduated high school and be in his first semester at college is it wasn't for New Generation School in Lake City, FL. He had ADHD and a big reading comprehension delay that cause him to struggle in every single subject including math. He couldn't handle the word problems. This school wouldn't move him up a single lesson until he understood the current lesson fully, because if he moved on without knowing the current lesson, he wouldn't be able to handle the next step. It makes such a huge difference in the lives of those children who learn differently or at a different pace. Please, don't take this away from our children. Thank you and God Bless!!!

I am grateful for this scholarship as it provides me with the opportunity to ensure my child is receiving help from professionals trained to work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Please keep the step up for students scholarships. My kids are learning so much Better at their private school and they support our values.

The scholarship program is a great benefit for families like me that want a Better education for our children but can't afford the expenses of private schools!

I have been a public school teacher for years. I strongly believe that Step Up For Students should be an option for children.

I am very upset about the lawsuit against the PLSA Scholarship and extremely happy for my child been awarded with the scholarship. We needed this scholarship very long time ago. Parents as I do, struggle with monetary costs when we decide to home school our children. Reasons to home school a special need child varies, but the most important one, is that the public system never provides the child with the services that legally they are obligated to do. Public School system uses the money that they are supposed to use for the services of the special need child, in other different things, then, they force the parent and the child to move from the general education setting, into a cluster. I can write a book about my sad experience about it. There is the option for a child who is enrolled in public school to apply for the McKay Scholarship. However, it was just not fair that home school children did not had any resource available in regarding scholarship. I am extremely happy and I just can not wait till October to began this excited educational opportunity. I sign this petition to stop the lawsuit against the FL School Choice Scholarship Step Up for Students. I am a citizen that pay taxes too!
