Stop The Lawsuit Against Florida's Tax Credit Scholarships (Step Up For Students)

My Daughter is striving in School thanks to the step up Scholarship her grades and confidence have grown in the past 2 years she had been in a Private Schhol her grads are A+ and outstanding we are so proud of her she is currently working on earning a Honor a Roll Certificate

My child would not be able to go to the school she is at now if there was not for step for students.

This is a very good program and alot of us parents benefit from it because we are able to put our children to get secular and islamic education thank you STEP UP

how aweful can these people be??? our son went through at least 4 public schools, he has ADHD, we have found a school now where he gets the right education and treatment. Not being able to go to his school, would devistate our child. Shame on all you guys !!!!

We believe that education is life and that I have the right in how I choose to educate my family and without programs like Step Up it would be harder for a lot of people to have the choice. Every child deserves a chance to succeed and learn in the best manner to fit individual needs.

Does anyone realize how much more money the state will have to spend if scholarship students would have to attend public schools? Tampa Bay Times reported this years cost per student was nearly $7,000 per student which is a whole lot more than our scholarship awards. If this were to pass, the teachers union is looking to add a near HALF MILLION DOLLAR demand increase on an already inadequate florida education budget.

Do not take away our scholarships!

As a low income parent of a daughter requiring special attention, we are very grateful for the Step Up Scholarship. This is her first year receiving it and she is looking forward to attending her new school for many years.

Please leave SUFS scholarship program alone. This scholarship has allowed my son to really succeed in his current school. If he was uprooted from his wonderful school he would loose his personal joy to even attend school at all. It would ruin my families life because we'd be forced into homeschooling.

My children started public school as elementary stage. There were many instances my children needed academic assistance but we did not find it through the public school system. My childrens' academics have exceptionally made a great change in there private school. Thanks to step up for students I have been able to continue to keep them there and see them flourish academically as well as socially.

Teacher have the unions fighting for there interest no matter how egregious, who is looking out for our children? Schools who don't perform academically should not be funded bu the taxpayers.

I am grateful for this scholarship since our household income is limited due to a single salary and that a cops salary. I know if we lost this scholarship the public school system wouldnt get our children. I would opt to homeschool, but I truly hope this scholarship continues unchanged.

SUFS is a blessing to my family. Stop this nonsense! My child, my choice!
