Step Up has been my saving grace! I don't live in the best area and was forced to put my daughter in schools that weren't conducive to her learning potential! With Step Up I was able to put my daughter in a school where she is learning at full capacity and thriving academically! Stopping this program will have a very negative impact on lots of people including EVERYONE involved!! This should be about education as opposed to greed and control..

Please don't stop this scholarship. We are hard working parents who chose to send our kids to catholic school not only due to our religious beliefs but also for the values, respect for others and care for their community, we could not be able to afford private education otherwise. Our kids are learning so much more than bible stories, they are learning to be compassionate, caring, and they are also learning to accept different religions and beliefs.

We need all parents to stand up and fight for our children.

My daughter was sexually harassed and bullied in 2nd grade when our school district changer her magnet school to open enrollment. No one did anything about it. Now my child shines in a school with stellar academics and receives the blessing of a spiritual education class that adds morality and charity to her daily life. Last year she was on a downward spiral, mimicking that of the only school available to us within our public school system. This year she is blossoming intellectually and as a human being! All because Step Up for Students gives us the right to choose and our new school the funds it needs.

If the public school system worked to start with, we wouldn't have a need for the Step Up Program to begin with.

My three children are on the scholarship. If they no longer were able to attend the Christian school on a scholarship then we would home school them. I am sure other patents feel the same as I do, so all of those students on scholarship will not be going back to public school.

We just joined the step up family and are so grateful that they gave us the opportunity to send our son to private school. I hope that the educators who filed this lawsuit know how many childrens lives they will disrupt if they follow through with this outrageous lawsuit.

I am so thankful for this stepup for student scholarship for my child.Living in a not so good area with the not so good schools its a blessing for my child to be able to attend a Christian private school.Its no need to stop the Stepup for student scholarship.All kids deserves good education.

I wish more states had scholarships such as this. A child's education is what is important. Where that education is obtained should be left to the parents, who know their child and the factors and circumstances that influence their decision. Not all schools are good schools. Not all teachers are good teachers. And every child learns differently. Let the parents make the choice of what is best for their child. Whatever happened to the "best interest of the child?". If we don't take care of the children now, when they are young, providing them with a good education where they can learn and flourish, we will be caring for (many of) them later, when they don't have the education needed for a living wage.
