Please do not stop the Step Up for Students scholarship. I have no problems with public school. I am a product of it. We have 3 children that have the scholarship and are thriving in a smaller setting for school. Each have either ADD or ADHD and need additional help that is best met in a smaller setting of a private school. They would suffer to be forced to go back to a traditional school setting.

Do not stop the scholarships. My little girl who has ODD has blossomed in the smaller structured classrooms and has no need for medication. She wouldn't have this wonderful opportunity without this program. I personally couldn't afford the tuition. Why should it have anything to do with the public schools when it isn't money taken from them it is all privately funded. It harms no one.Please leave things as they are.

This is an outrageous lawsuit aimed at low income parents who desire to have a different choice for their child's education- just like the wealthy in our society- including the brights in the Democratic Party who have the means to send their kids anywhere they want. This lawsuit is unfair and cruel- drop it!

From bullying to blessing....this scholarship has helped my daughter to love school again! She no longer says she is stupid and a failure. She has hope and a new perspective on what school should be.

The lawsuit is an attempt to eliminate choice for parents and their children! The local public school here is a C rated school with many issues. My children are able to attend a private school and are learning and testing well above their grade level...they are our future....why take away what works best for them, for us, & for the future of our state??? The lawsuit is WRONG..... focus on creating better public schools....not forcing children into them!!!!!

We have four kids. Without this scholarship, we could never afford private school. Please don't take this opportunity away from our children! If the teachers' union really cared about children, they would never file a lawsuit like this. This only proves that they are only out for themselves and to make more money. Everyone says teachers are underpaid, well I see all the teachers at public school driving brand new cars and wearing gold jewelry, I think they are just getting greedy. Don't force my kids to go be taught by the selfish adults that filed this lawsuit, they don't care about our children!

This program has changed my daughter's whole life for the better. Without it, we would have moved out of county to attend a school without violence, bullying and where she would actually learn something. St Andrew's Episcopal Academy works with the local community via business partners and charity - something she learns about in school now!- and is an asset to our depressed town. Do not take this away from us!

thanks to this scholarship my kid are able to attend to a better school we are a low income family the public school they are suppose is a very difficult school with lots of problems.
Please stop the lawsuit our children s deserve to attend to better schools. thanks.

This scholarship has been a HUGE blessing. My son had been struggling in public school and I just couldn't afford a tutor. But with the help of the scholarship I was able to place him in a private school where they give him one on one attention. Now his is exceeding all his academic classes with above average scores.
It is very important to keep the scholarships available to the children.
