My niece lives in a single parent home. This scholarship has allowed her to be in a very good positive school. Where her mother otherwise would not be able to affors to send her to a public school. I thank you so much for this opportunity to sign the petition.

Since receiving this scholarship, my kids are turning around. I am able to place them in a Christian environment where they are finally beginning to thrive. We all want what's best for our children, they are the future leaders of this Country. Give them a chance.

Without this scholarship my children would be in a school where the children are speaking of unthinkable things for their ages and have grade repeaters bullying them. Late year I placed my 3 children 7,10and 12 in a public school after being in private schools most of their lives thank to step up. All were A,B students until that point the first week in public school my 10 yr old was bullied an didn't want to return to school she cried the whole year before the year ended all of my children's grades dropped and not one of them wanted to return to school. This new school year I was awarded the step up scholarship placed my children back in a private school where their grades have returned to the A,B status and they have even joins different after school activities. So in conclusion I'm begging for the sake of my children as well as all the other children who have been give this scholarship please don't take it from them

It is priceless. In public school my kids couldn't do the basics now they are excelling with a strong foundation. They love going to school.
Please don't stop the scholarship.

The scholarship program is a blessing to me because my son does better and a small school setting. He did really bad at public school last year and is doing great this year and private school. If it were not for the scholarship he would not be doing well at all

SAVE THE PROGRAM !!!! THEY DON'T HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN ATTACKING GOOD SCHOLARSHIPS AND MESSING UP THE LIVES OF PARENTS TRYING TO GIVE A GOOD EDUCATION TO THEIR KIDS , BECAUSE THEY CAN DO THEIR JOBS BETTER !!!

This program has been a God sent for me the last 3 years. When my income changed 3 years ago this scholarship still allowed me to send my son to a private school where he is receiving an excellent education.

I am so grateful for the step up for student scholarship. My son was going to a public school of Broward County the teacher that he had didn't care to teach she was just there to receive a paycheck I asked her was there any problem with my child she responds by he don't know how to read I ask again are you sure you have the right child he went through kindergarten through 3rd grade with straight A's and B's when enter a public school in Broward County he start receiving F's. I couldn't believe my eyes I went back and forth with the teacher I asked her to send his work that he did in class home so I can see what's going on but instead of doing that she sent home a report card with F's on them .So I told myself I know he's a very smart kid so we going to see what his SAT scores are in his FCAT scores are .Thank God for the test score he passed with the highest score on both tests in his class but his teacher couldn't justify his grades that she was giving he on his report card. I ask you please stop fighting against us parents out here that wants a better education for the child.
