Stop The Lawsuit Against Florida's Tax Credit Scholarships (Step Up For Students)

This scholarship has allowed my children a chance at a good education. So much is taken from the public schools, that education as fallen. The children are no longer important. I want my children to have the best I can offer and this is what Step up as done.

We need sufs.

My Kids have been able to get an education I could not afford with this program I am so Grateful for Step Up Fot Students!!!

This scholarship it's very important to us and our children and we support every effort to keep it alive and active for our children's future. My child has done better than ever with this prgram.

I support this petition. It has helped us financially through the hard times. I thank God we have this allowing our girls to get a Catholic private education. Thank you Elizabeth.

Our kids hopes and dreams is #1

All parents have the right to choose the best school for their children. The teacher's union has no right to take away a parent's right to choose.

We need this for our children, don't take it away!

If it weren't for Step Up For Students, my 4 sons would not have the opportunity to learn in an environment more suited to them! We started our pursuit of another school 5 months into our now 5th graders 3rd grade year in public school. He felt so much pressure to perform for the FCAT that he ended up needing 3-5 hits of Albuterol a day for stress induced asthma. He never needed his rescue inhaler at home!!! Or, during the summer!! He had to see a gastrointestinal Dr for his constant upset stomach. We found out in therapy that his teacher would deny him trips to the health room for his inhaler, giving him even more anxiety that he wouldn't be able to breathe! We are in a much better place now! He is relaxed and doing very well. So great, his Pulmonologist took him off his daily asthma medicine. He hasn't needed his rescue inhaler since he started at St Anthony Catholic School! He still has lingering test anxiety, but EACH individual that works at St Anthony supports him and gives him encouragement! (Something we didn't get at Wendall Watson!!! They just let him sit there and figure it out for himself!!!! Not allowing me or my husband to assist him!) Our family is more than blessed and we can't say it enough, public school is NOT for everyone! We value our children being able to be in an environment where they can pray to God and be with like minded people! We could not have done this without Step Up For Students! Thank You!!!

Stop the Lawsuit

We appreciate Stepupforstudents a lot ! It scares us when we feel that there is something threatening the scholarship ,We can NOT send our kids to school without it ! So thank a lot and a lot to Stepupforstudents :)

Its no reason to stop the STEPUP for Student scholarship. Its a blessing to me n my kid and I know it is to a lot other.

This is a wonderful program for child so they are able to go to wonderful schools in which they otherwise would be able to go to

Our kids are the future!!! They have very good grades, they are very graetful for the oportunity. Let them be the best that they can be.

I said thank God for Step Up for bring the opportunity to my adopted children to have a Christian Education. My husband and I adopted two kids, 8 years old and 5 years old from a really dysfunctional situation from them. Now they are learning about better way of life, rules, principles and good moral values. I put them in a good public school but some kids was pushing the boy to participate in a fighting club in the school and he under pressure participated one moment, God protected him and the other boy under risk because the deputy came and dissolve the disturb. Now he is so happy to stay in a small school with Christian principles and spiritual teaching. All people who think how eliminate the tax Credit Scholarship please think instead they are helping and blessing children in their own country.

They should not close the scholarship for our kids they need it and it important some parents cannot afford to pay private schools.

Please don't take our scholarships away. My children are doing well in a Christian environment.

With this scholarship, my child has more opportunities for his education. We wouldn't afford it any other way!

My husband & I love the program, it allows us the opportunity to give our child the best education & success.
