Stop The Lawsuit Against Florida's Tax Credit Scholarships (Step Up For Students)

We all deserve freedom of scholastic choice!

I am the principal of a private school and have been associated with the tax credit scholarship since it's inception. It has been a blessing to many under served students in my school, who had been unsuccessful in the public school setting. These scholarships are the reason many students remain in school. Our students attend college, go into the Jacksonville work force and become good citizens. We also participate in an external audit and national testing every year. We are accountable to those who entrust their dollars to educate our students. We ask that you drop this lawsuit and allow us to help you with the daunting task of educating students who have and probably will, again, drop out of public schools and become a burden to the community instead of an asset. Please drop this lawsuit. It will only take away dollars that you say you need to educate children in the state. The dollars you spend on lawsuits could be better used to educate the children in the state.

My daughter is a grateful recipient of a SUFS scholarship. Please keep this program going for the future of our kids, cities, state and country.

The scholarship allowed my children to attend a Christian school where the teachers actually care about them. My children have flourished academically and emotionally. My children are confident and happy. Public schools failed to even attempt to help both my children.

As a tax payer I believe I have the right to have my child/ children in a school that believes the same principles we do as a family.

Let the Step Up For Students Scholarship continue to help out our children we need more for the children not less.

Enables children to attend a variety of schools based on personal preferences.

To The Teachers Union: I already pay for the public school system out of my inflated taxes, yet I get to send my children to the school I choose and still have to pay a portion of their tuition. I do not mind- my children are worth it. Thank you step-up for students!!!! Teachers Union- you can not handle 70,000 students back into the public school system. It would be mass chaos.

My family truly support this scholarship. It has been a great help to us.

This keeps my children in their school aince their father left. It is what keeps them in a safe solid community and makes it so that everything die at have to change.

I am a proud parent of four and StepUp for Students made it possible for three of my children to attend a Seventhday Adventist private school. Without the assistance from Step Up For Students I would not have been able to put three of my children in private school. They are so happy at their school. Without this scholarship for our three children they could not receive the high quality education they are currently receiving with the special attention that is required for them to achieve as they have.

Without this scholarship my son could not attend the school he so despreatly needs to receive the education he is getting.

I cannot believe that there's a coalition that has being formed to take away educational choice from parents and children who utilize this mechanism as a vital tool of providing quality education for their child(ren).

Our children need these scholarships....public schools have failed us as parents & to have no other options of education for our kids is ludicrous.... what ever to no child left behind????

As an elected school board member, I fully support empowering families with school choice. Parents know best! These groups should drop this heartless lawsuit. #dropthesuit

I appreciate step up for students scholarship program.. This funding help my kids out smaller classroom sizes they can get tbe one on one help needed... Without them my kids will be lost ...

We parents should have the choice to decide what is best for our children. Don't let the public schools teachers associations to make that choice for us. They have no business in this.

We should as parents have a choice to choose the type of education for our children . Public school are disign to destroy our future dreamers
