Great Program to ensure children are safe at a smaller school community that assist with building faith. Step up for students provides an opportunity for children to receive a quality education regardless of financial circumstances. This program assisted me a single mother.

This scholarship has allowed my child to go to a private school that has smaller student teacher ratio and has enabled him to learn at his pace, something he was not getting in a public school. He is becoming more confident in himself and is doing better in school all around. Without this scholarship I would not be able to afford to send my child to this school.

Having this Scholarship having been afforded to my (3) children has not only enhanced my children in academics but has uniquely given them the opportunity to receive a Christian education as well as a heavy background in Performing Arts and If this Scholarship is withdrawn I will have NO OTHER recourse but to homeschool my children, as there is NO WAY that I can put them in a "public" institution... They have collectively spent Pre-K thru 8th grade in private school... It's PARENTS RIGHT IN DECIDING EDUCATION, as StepUp' was originally named.... Keep It That Way!

My son used to struggle a lot when he was at the public school. he has speech delay and teachers at school didn't care that much about my son but to treat him like a problem child no matter he had an excellent behavior he had academic difficulties, well this was disgusting for his teachers and instead of encourage him to do better they coused him frustration and maked him feel like a looser That's how kids like mine get treated in public schools. Thanks to step up I got to find for my child a private school where teachers are not that busy with so many students per class, and they care about my child. Now my son is doing very good in every aspect. He is very happy and now I can rest. If step up is shutdown this would be painful for my son and I.

My child NEEEEDS this. Please do not take it away from her. It is a beautiful opportunity for children who would not be able to experience it otherwise.
