Shame on these teachers and organizations for attempting something so harmful against our children's education. This Step up For Students scholarship has helped me immensely. It has provided me with the privilege of choosing a school for my child where I am confident she is safe and that she receives the best education. This lawsuit is a personal attack from.my perspective on every parent this incredible scholarship represents.

Our children cannot fight for themselves and this is left to us, the parents, to fight for them. It is however hard to believe that there are people out here cruel enough to partake in this endeavor to sabotage the future of thousands of these kids. This scholarship has made it possible for 1000s of kids to have a better chance in life. What is this fight about? This money does not come from the federal gov but from generous organizations who see the importance of a Christian Education. It is unfortunate that a number of parents are sitting back and not paying attention to the seriousness of this issue. Let the public schools make some positive changes that will bring back these students into their schools. Fighting to eliminate testing, eliminating sports, not challenging these children to higher heights, eliminating prayers... to name but a few, are some reasons why parents need this program. When the word of God is instilled in a child, and she/he happens to go astray, that knowledge of God is what leads he/she back to the right path. Ever since prayer was taken out of our school system, our children are no longer equipped with the word that would make them walk away from confrontations but instead resorting to violence. SOLUTION: Let us all write letters about why this program is important to these students, Collect these letters in ever school and mass mail them to our senators and whoever else is concerned as many parents cannot make it to these meetings. Involve the MEDIA... Just as these people are making themselves relevant, parents who need this program should be doing the same. The louder the get, the louder parents should get.

My daughter is excelling beautifully and is currently in the Honors Program. We have the right to have our children attend schools that aren't affected by overcrowding.

This program has benefitted many children to attend a school they love and to achieve the education they most need.If you take away this program the parents of these children will not be able to afford to send them, this will affect the children emotionally and effect their willing to learn. Please consider the children because if they are happy and learning what more could we ask for. Thank you for time and consideration in this most important and urgent matter.

I have 3 out of 4 of my children in public school. My 4th and youngest is going through this program. County schools are so far behind in education and class sizes are to big. I hope this program stays around.

We need to keep our Scholarships. It helps our kids stay in a small class size so that they can learn more at a time the in any other school.

I am the mother of 11, 8 of my children attend Dunedin Academy. I am disgusted and outraged that such an amazing program is in jeopardy. This should never be. No one should be concerned in my opinion about how children are being educated but that they ARE educated and not slipping through the cracks and becoming statistics. For me, my children and I were suddenly abandoned by my ex husband. I was scared beyond words, how could I possibly have my children in 3 separate schools? With having so many there's no way being 1 person could be at 3 different schools roughly at the same time. If it wasn't for the scholarship program my children would not be able to be in a private school that teaches pre-k thru 12th. I can and do say that step up for students program saved my family. I am eternally grateful and will stand up to fight for their right to have this great opportunity. Thank you so much Step Up for Students!!!! God Bless You All!!!!

Both of my children are happier in school than they have ever been since being awarded the step up for students scholarship. Please protect thier right to equal education. They would both beheart broken if made to return to public school!
