as parents we should have the right to choose the education we feel is right for our children, regardless of income status. Our children matter!! They are our future!!

I am so very grateful for the step up for students program. I had my children enrolled in a private school for many years, but due to financial difficulties had to put them in public school last year. Public schools are failing our children and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to choose the right education for them with the much needed help from step up.

My child uses this scholarship and has excelled because of it. We live in an area where the schools are failing. After her father medically retired from the military we moved back home. That does not mean our child should be punished she has made enough scarifices.

What parent don't want the best education for there kids?. I am a mother with two kids, and i want the best future for then. My oldest daughter, she is nine years old and she have good grades, and a good study thanks to the education system, and the help that my family is receiving from the state of florida scholarship. This scholarship is helping some of the poorest children in our state, as the same of my kids. So I said "please" stop the lawsuit against set up scholarships for students. Being low income does not mean we can not choose the kind of education our children needs.

My son has had step up for students since kindergarten, I pray that the scholarship program is not taken away. I enrolled my child in a charter school for a month and his grads drop so.I put back in private school. The private setting is great not only that is he knows the bible. And the class room setting is smaller and more one on one. To cancel this scholarship is the wrong idea then the students will be forced to.take the fcat which is fearful to me because no matter how smart you are they will not pass your child to the next grade level. It's a honor to have step up for students. Better education and better learning skills. I'm a parent that's willing to help stop this. I'm a single mom whom wants the best for my son and a better education

We appreciate what you are trying to do. If teachers and school boards knew how to teach kids instead of complaining about people who are trying to give kids a chance maybe the scholarships wouldn't be necessary. I suspect this lawsuit is more about their greed over money instead of helping children. Keep up the good work. My son Mathew needs you very much. I know. I've dealt with public the school system with my oldest boy and believe me it's a night and day situation. Mathew would not make it under the conditions my older boy had to go thru. No one really cares - not all but most of them. There are good teachers in the public school system so I don't want to condemn all of them. It boils down to a broken system and it seems no one knows how to fix it. Thanks again -

I have two children and this is my first year using the scholarship and I must saw I see a huge difference when my children come home from school. The public school my children were attending always had my daughter stressed. I met with the math coach several times and I still could not help my child. SAVE STEP UP FOR STUDENTS!

I pray they will not win in taking away the scholarship! We put my daughter in a school with tuition so she gets the best education and influences while out of our care. She is doing wonderful and loves her school. We're blessed to have the step up for students scholarship, if not we wouldn't be able to send her to her school due to not being able to afford it. Please don't let them take this away from our kids!!

My 2 new Filipino children are doing extremely well at Tallavana Christian School in Havana, both academically and in sports, and it just would NOT have been so had they gone to public schools here. We ALL want the BEST for our children, and we will FIGHT for this right!!!

This helps my special needs student get the education she needs. Due to changes in the McKay scholarship, we fell through the cracks and SUFS is the only way I can send her to the best option for her needs.

Being able to have my son receive a quality education is the awesome and the scholarship has helped me to be able to give him a great start. My child is excelling and for him this is normalcy. His Teacher is wonderful and so is the staff at his school. I have worked in the public school system and I believe that with his awesome energy he would have labeled day one and they would have already decided rather or not he is worth their time. This is not always the case. But, I witnessed this behavior many times. I am thankful for the scholarship , and I need it.
GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU WHO ARE FIGHTING FOR YOUR CHILDREN!!
