I am really grateful that my daughter have the opportunity to have this scholarship and I think is very sad that the school board agree with this.

We should have the right to be able to choose if we want our kids in a private school or public school. I want my kids in a bible believing school and this program allows me to do that. I think the public school should be trying to deal with all the things wrong within the public schooling before they try to take our rights away for us to have a choice in a better education for our students. If we don't look out for our children who will?

If it wasn't for Step Up For Students. My family would not be able to afford my children to go to a Christian school. I thank God for this program. One thing I know is that my God is bigger than any person trying to take away our children's Christian education. He will prevail over this jist watch.

Step Up has changed my kids life and view on school. They were in public school and hated being there. The environment was not positive and my kids did not work up to there full potential. After receiving Step Up I was given the opportunity to choose a school of my liking and enroll my kids. Now my kids are in a school that instills positive values and teaches them a different way of learning. My kids now have good grades and they love going to school. As a parent having your kids come home with their faces filled with excitement because their day at school was awesome is priceless!!! WE NEED STEP UP, OUR KIDS NEED STEP UP!!!!!

This scholarship opportunity has been beyond a blessing for our children. Having children with sensory needs, the public setting is overwhelming. Before this opportunity the doctors wanted to put our oldest on anxiety meds and Adderall just to calm her nerves and OCD. One week in a private sector said "mommy, this is going to be the best year ever!"
Please don't take this opportunity away from those that need it. It's not a hand out, it an opportunity to succeed where failure may otherwise prevail.

Since my daughter received this scholarship, I have noticed a huge difference in her school work. Now she's more driven and loves school, without the scholarship she wouldn't be able to attend the school she's at due to finances. Just seeing how happy she is when she comes home makes me as a mother feel like I've done by her.

My son is in better school now. This program really help me and my son. So please give it a rest. His new school tell me so much positive about his work, but his old school never said those things so I'm happy where he is right now

This scholarship has helped me put my kids in a Christian school with better academics and environment that I would never would of been able to afford on my own. Don't steal a child's dream of being better cause their parent couldn't afford to give them better on their own.

Please do not take this away from our children this is one of the best programs the state has to offer children of low income. i love my sons school as do they it has been a miracle worker for my son who has ADHD

My family loves Step Up For Students! We could never afford private education for our children, but with these scholarships, I currently have three students excelling in private school with fabulous teachers, small classroom sizes, and values that my family considers invaluable. Thank you!
