We would not be able to afford to send our special needs child to a private school and get much needed therapies if it weren't for Step Up for Students scholarship program. Because of this amazing scholarship, our child has a promising future and chance to succeed, rather than getting lost amongst the public school system. We are so thankful for Step Up and pray this program doesn't go away.

This scholarship as hell my daughter in so many ways she was suffering academically because her school would not allow her to exceed the standards of public school. However in private school she has met all the standards and still exceeded. Thank you so much for giving my daughter a scholarship she would not of had the chance to show everyone how bright she is without it

We have rights to let our children go to school. Some schools are better for kids with disabilities. Don't change it!!

This lawsuit is a waste of time - Parents should have a right and if they qualify for the program then why not take advantage for smaller classrooms and better parent communication.

I really feel this lawsuit is uncalled for. All parents deserve the right to choose the way their children are educated. . Instead of wasting money on this lawsuit, the money could be put to good use by bettering the public education system. Hmm what a novel idea

It seems Step Up for Studens has been around for some time and Some of the Christian private schools that receive these funds have been doing so for a while also. What I would like to know is why all of a sudden has this become an issue and if the monies are being used for a good cause (the education of our future) What is your reasoning for trying to ruin our children's education?

My daughter will need the step up for students scholarship in a couple years to attend the same school as her brother. He has the McKay Scholarship to attend the private school, the Public school was horrible. After just one week at the private school they realized he did not do well in a regular class because of his disabilities and they put him in class with 5 students and he is excelling and has AB honor roll and works at his level and I am not getting a call everyday asking me to pick him up. I want my daughter to have this same Opportunity at a wonderful school, Public schools do not care about our kids education.

Step up is a blessing for our family! Our daughters are musically and artistically oriented and public schools in our area have cut budget on most of those programs.

I took my kids out of public schools because of the poor quality of instruction and the fact they thought it was okay to let kids fall through the cracks and fail with academics. I will fight, with the rest of my peers, to prevent this disgusting lawsuit from taking place.

My child benefits so much from this scholarship. She is in a great school that she loves because of it. If not for this scholarship, I would be homeschooling my child because our public schools are so terrible. Thanks Step Up!!

It disgusts me that the FEA and these other organizations care more about their profit than for the kids benefitting from this program. This is an infringement upon liberty! Every student, no matter their background, should have the opportunity to go to a good school. Think about the kids.
