This lawsuit is a direct attack against minority students and their families.

someone needs to post a valid list of who is suing to stop this! I for one would spend the $50.00 it takes to counter sue the people and organizations involved. If for arguments sake 1000 people spent the 50 dollars it takes in Florida to file a claim in civil court, that would be a 1000 lawsuits they would have to spend money to defend! They would stop this insanity very quickly if it hit them in their pocket!

This lawsuit does not consider our children's best interest rather greed of the public school system. Parents now have choices to choose resulting less funding to be designated to their assigned school. All our children are to them are dollars, my son was severely bullied last year at a lake County Public school to the point he threatened his life. The school's response to me was basically it's too many kids for them to supervise, but now this lawsuit could potentially send thousands of kids back into an already over crowded school system where they aren't receiving and adequate education because of issues of over crowding along with bullying that takes place.

My son struggled in public school and the common core curriculum was not working for him. I was happy to have options and Step Up made this possible. what he receives now in private school, he would not have gotten in public school. parents needs options and funding should not be the reason you cannot do whats best for your child's education.

Disadvantaged students should have equal access to the choice of a religious as well as academic based education. Step up allows that to happen and we know people who's children benefited from this program.

My children live in a small town which every school is a failing school. They are now able to get a quality education at a private school with the help of step up for students.

Please save the Step Up student scholarship program. There will be many children that won't be able to continue the great education they are getting.
