the Florida education association is a poisonous group who are against every positive step the state, and the federal govt. takes to improve education for our children.

All families, regardless of income, deserve to have an opportunity to put their children in a school where they feel best suites their child.

This is the only way my daughter has been able to receive a much better education...the public school she went to was a D school two years in a row. Now, she is on the A/B honor roll!

We have the right to choose where to send our children to school in this country, and no teachers' union or special interest group is going to infringe upon that. We will not let them meddle with private funding, because it doesn't belong to them. Let them be content with their misappropriated federal tax dollars.

This scholorship is a great help and it would be a shame if its taken away. Education should be the main concern when it comes to the young generation

I, as a single mother, should have an opportunity to send my son to a school of my choice with the assistance of a scholarship. My son deserves an opportunity to excel and thrive in a great school. The public school system in St. Lucie county is no where I want my child to be.

Save Step Up. All kids should have the option for private education.

Scholarships have been a God sent for my family. The education, smaller class size, and all around family environment that these kids have been exposed to at this private school would not be without the scholarship they've received.

This has allowed my 1st grader to attend a school where the teachers care. Public school retained her in kindergarten last year due to poor performance and refused to test when I suggested she was bored. Private school tested and she was on a 1st grade 10th month level and was able to start 1st grade where she needed to be. If we remained in public school she would be repeating a year in which she would learn nothing. Parents need the right to choose.

As a grandparent that is raising a grandchild that needs the PLS I he would be lost without this scholarship. This is a chance for children to succeed instead of being left behind.
