Can you imagine all the monies that are being spent to take Step Up to court. I think all tax payers would agree that instead of taking us (Step Up for Students) through the legal system, why not put that money back into public schools. They complain that more students are going to private schools but at least ours is for the greater cause.

The program has operated legally for a number of years and has helped thousands of disadvantaged families receive a better education.

My grandson that was unable to get a scholarship because of 'political rules' is now in public school. We couldn't afford another year. The lack of leadership of our public schools is absolutely embarrassing. Thank you for taking care of my other two!!!

This program is a true Godsend to my two grandchildren whom i have financial responsibility for!! As an American we have the right to CHOOSE the school we wish our family to attend , The PTA and other unions have absolutely NO RIGHT to impose their will on this program.

It should be a parents choice and all the funding is coming from private organizations and not the State of Florida. Should not be any concern of them. They should be more concerned about better the education of the ones that are left in public school.

SUFS scholarships helpsstudents with mild disabilities receive more of the one on one support needed for educational successes in a private sschool setting. If it were not for this scholarship, many more students would get lost or overlooked in the public education system.

Please re-consider this case, our children are the future. Children, teenage-students & students in general needs our support and the scholarships helps them to be in better educational environments to fully perform their abilities and better their educational success. Thank you in advance for your support.

I am a single mother with a disability and I would never be able to send my child to his school without this scholarship. I am so grateful and feel like God gave me a miracle for him. My son is now able to go to a school where he can be himself and feel loved and accepted. He does not have to meet crazy standards that have no thought for his individuality or personal gifts. He is also able to go to school with his cousins and does not have to feel the pain of being excluded from the best because of my inability to provide the best alone. I have such hope for him and his future because of the gift of having step-up.

These types of programs are so necessary for those of us who cannot otherwise afford the education our children need in an environment they can thrive in. It is our right to choose the educational path for our children. Maybe we can cut spending for frivolous trips to Palm Beach under the guise of political work - now that's a thought....

This has been the greatest gift I could give my Foster/Adoptive children. To give them a private school environment, gives them a security.. Can't even imagine this gift being taken away from them..

There are more important things to worry about than taking away these children's way for education. The public schools have been effected enough to were they barely have enough teachers so now let's hurt the private schools. STOP.......you are hurting your future leaders.

Please do not take away the tax credit scholarship because it provides such a great opportunity for children and families to be successful and give back to the country.

I would like to to vote for keeping the scholarships for education active, scholarship as " Step up for students"; Kids are the hope for the future generations and we need to invest more in their education instead of taking the financial support away from Kids Education. That is not an intelligent decision from government agencies to take. It would back fire in years to come and this country economy will suffer the consequences from this poor decision. we need more winner and less losers to grow this country in the positive way. we must improve schooling from pre-K through college and beyond.

It's a shame that the same people qho claim to be advocated for education are trying to cut a program that is only for education. Is this because they can't profit from it? Even though my children don't get Step up scholarships it benefits the children in our communities and well educated children are less likely to commit crimes. Cuttimg this scholarship would be a selfish shame on all of the so called educational associations who are against it.
