My two daughters have thrived and developed since being changed from a charter school to a religious school. The loving family environment at their new school Mother of Christ in Miami has impacted their studies and social development in many positive ways. They have improved in all academic areas and are no longer just numbers or statistics. They quote love going to a school with Gods presence and have not had to deal with just learning to take an fcat! They can actually understand what they read and can express themselves in a manor that will make any state proud. Private schools are helping us develop the future leaders of this country with morals and beliefs that any parent would be proud of. I am fortunate as my dreams where for my children to experience a private education and that would not be possible without Step up. Thank you for letting my children experiment in the right direction. This is one of the most important programs that any financially challenged parent can benefit from.. Without it we would have nothing but schools that don't even allow our children to pray before eating their lunch regardless of their religion. As it states on all the money we spend in this state In God we trust, Amen!

The Step Up For Students scholarship program has been an invaluable resource for our family and our two children. Both of our kids are able to attend an outstanding Christian school where what they are learning at home about the love of Jesus is confirmed in their education as well. Without your help we would be unable to provide such a rich education and firm foundation for their future. This scholarship is helping to shape their future!

My son has so much more confindence and had straight A's. With out this scholarship he would still be in public school falling behind because he cant get the help he needs due to the classrooms being to full

SUFS benefits so many students and families. It is a blessing to provide funding for students who would not be able to afford a private education. Public school is not a good fit for all students.

The Tax Credit Scholarship is important not only for student who are the direct beneficiaries but for educators as well.
Having alternatives to a public school education via the use of scholarships is an incentive to the public school systems to improve and compete with the schools where these scholarship are used. And, the general public benefits as well, since better education for all is in itsbest interests by providing well educated citizens.

Please stop the lawsuits that are burdening our families with no choice but to send our children to schools that are failing miserably at educating our children for tomorrow's challenges.

This is a valuable option. Not all children succeed in the same environment, but they all deserve the opportunity to succeed! They are our future! We need to invest in them!

Every Parent has the right to choose what kind of education is the best medication. It was completely out of order that a group like the teachers union and the association of Florida school boards want to control this situation. Enough !! where the rights of every person. Definitely would not we support a small group who just want to get more where there is not. Thanks to Step Up we can provide a better education for the future of our babies.

Step Up, a valuable resource for Florida citizens. A resource worth fighting to PROTECT. Parents and Guardians are provided education and community settings which they would otherwise be restricted. Some of these Florida families and Guardians have strong faith based disagreement with current public education system.

Most public schools in Duval County are not performing to passing standards. Parents should have a choice. It is my opinion that I shouldn't have to pay taxes to support a failing program when I sacrifice to send my children to private school that are performance oriented with religious moral values.
