Stop the interim pastor vote and gather for corporate prayer

There is an espanol prayer meeting every Tuesday. They have been very gracious and lovingly welcomed some of us to their meetings. It has been a most humble and blessed time for me. The Holy Spirit is real in these meetings and I go home encouraged every time! Come pray with us!

If my people who are called by my name will seek my face !!! Regardless we need to be holding corporate prayer meetings to humbly seek the face of God for healing and direction . Please include the body .

Stop treating the church like a business and start treating it like a church - something our elders should have been doing for the past 2 years and maybe we wouldn’t be in this situation.

What a wonderful blessing and privilege it is to have people asking to come together in prayer for River Oaks!! God is using this time to revitalize His people to pray. Everyone has been in their prayer closet for many months. It is time for the church to come together in prayer and seek the wisdom of God.
I know that the Elders have no doubt been praying and seeking God’s will, as have everyone else, but the Bible gives us many examples of leaders who called all the people together in difficult times. Acts is such a wonderful picture of this.(1:14, 24; 2:42-43; 3:1; 4:23-31), as well as great leaders in the Old Testament. (Jehoshaphat - 2 Chronicles 20:1-30; Esther - 4:16; David - 1 Chronicles 16:7-8 and many more).
River Oaks people coming together bowing before Our God in corporate prayer can only help to bring respect, love and unity among the people and a united front against the enemy who is doing his best to steal, kill and destroy.

Please STOP. We need to STOP this hurried approach. River Oaks COMMUNITY CHURCH needs the Lords timing, not our timing.

Our family has chosen to leave River Oaks due to all this stuff that happened with Drew. No other pastor touched us and taught us so much.
