This petition requests the Elder Board of River Oaks Community Church to STOP the current interim pastor vote and listen and connect with members of Goshen and Español. MANY of us have concerns about the manner and speed in which decisions are being made about our future as a congregation. We do not desire a rushed decision on an interim pastor. Please stop, pause, and join with us in corporate prayer and worship, seeking God's best for River Oaks. We love our church.

The Elder Board has received the initial notification regarding this petition. We are currently drafting a formal letter to request a direct meeting with the leadership to address the concerns about the interim pastor selection process.

Please STOP. We need to STOP this hurried approach. River Oaks COMMUNITY CHURCH needs the Lords timing, not our timing.
Respectfully: The board needs to stop making plans and start listening to those of us who are left, then we can prayerfully make plans for our future together.
There is an espanol prayer meeting every Tuesday. They have been very gracious and lovingly welcomed some of us to their meetings. It has been a most humble and blessed time for me. The Holy Spirit is real in these meetings and I go home encouraged every time! Come pray with us!
If my people who are called by my name will seek my face !!! Regardless we need to be holding corporate prayer meetings to humbly seek the face of God for healing and direction . Please include the body .

Stop treating the church like a business and start treating it like a church - something our elders should have been doing for the past 2 years and maybe we wouldn’t be in this situation.

This is no way reflects anything negative towards Tom C. My signing is showing agreement to slow down, be better informed, and seek corporate prayer.
