Please stop this and do a proper assessment on this.... or every time there is an accident we can ask out insurance companies to forward the bill to you

Accidents are guaranteed to increase, not decrease, following installation of this so-called safety measure. Common sense tells you that!

Concerns regarding not only the east bound hill but also the southbound hill up Centre St.

I have serious concerns about the issues lights will create especially with large trucks and winter conditions.

What a stupid idea. I hope the person that came up with this idea has to stop there in bad winter weather and try to get moving. Who will be laughing then, when he is sliding down the hill.

Lights there would be very dangerous. Never seen an accident there!

This will cause accidents in the winter. Will cause congestion when there is none. There's no justification for this poorly thought out plan. It is short-sighted and typical of a municipality. Please stop this!

Instal a stop sign instead. Lights are not necessary!

This is a really bad idea. who puts a set of stoplights at the top of a hill the size of the center street/ mount albert sideroad hill? just asking for problems

You need to have more Police presence to stop the speeders instead of this. This is going to be a nightmare in the winter.

Lights at this location will cause issues. One of which will be when the east and west bound traffic has to stop there in the winter. A lot if school buses use this route as well. I feel this is an accident waiting to happen when the roads are bad. It will however make all the people who dont stop pulling out onto mount albert road stop which is good as most people I see all over town don't stop at stop signs.

Not a smart location will cause winter traffic problems and possible accidents.

The question is how many major accidents will have to happen before it is removed ?
