They need to add 2 lanes to 98 like they are doing in Tiger Point in Midway and which they are also doing in Walton County. This is the only long-term solution that makes sense.

Many mothers walk with strollers and young children on a daily basis on Leisure Street. Residents on Leisure Street are already trying to find ways to stop the speeders by calling the Sheriff's office. Making Leisure Street a bypass would be such a danger to the community and totally disrupt a peaceful family neighborhood.

Cutting through Leisure Street is not a solution, it just presents more problems. You already have half of the bypass in place with 399 connecting with 98. Now the Commissioners need to figure out how to connect 399 to the east of 98. Then you’ll be working on a bypass solution. All other attempts at a bypass are wasted time and money.

Terrible idea. 399 already accomplishes this.

As a resident of HBTS, this would be tryout l terrible for the neighborhood. An established bypass with hwy 399 is already in place.

Why would they build a high traffic road through our community? Why are they still building homes on Leisure and Broadmore? Unbelievable! We have to pay for their poor planning!

This makes absolutely ZERO sense…as East Bay currently does this from 98 to 87…

This is ridiculous. It needs to be East Bat all the way through to Panhandle. You can even go all the way up to Whispering Pines with a little work. That is a MUCH better solution.

Already have 399, stay out of an established subdivision.

This is NOT going to be the answer to poor planning for,98 by the county.

I do not support a bypass route through the middle of our subdivision.

I believe this will serve as a detriment to our community. Holley By The Sea is already the largest HOA in northwest Florida resulting in high but a sustainable amount of traffic. Our children and residents can still enjoy playing and doing recreational activities in the streets. This bypass would open up the neighborhood to unsustainable and dangerous amounts of traffic that would permanently alter the community and our way of life.

We don’t need/want a hwy through our community!

This is ridiculous on so many levels! How is anyone with even a small amount of common sense thinking this is a good idea!?! Use 399!!!

Please do not use Leisure St as a bypass for HWY 98.

This is a stupid idea that won’t make an impact on the traffic on 98. It will cause more problems with speeders and accidents involving pedestrians, cyclists and children. Is that the goal?

NO bypass through our neighborhood, HBTS.
