Wolves were hunted to extinction in areas of this country and after extensive and oft times, exhaustive tries to bring them back, some are surviving. As mankind disrupts the flow of things that have been millions of years in the making, we blame the animals who are only trying to survive.My friend James Nampushi is from the Maasai tribe in Kenya, where a rite of passage is to track, hunt and kill a lion, UNTIL, they as he puts it, "use the spear to defend, not hunt the lion". They now offer compensation to people who's livestock is killed by predators, allowing the lion population to grow. Yellowstone is a Federal park, funded by tax payer dollars, YOURS AND MINE, so we should have a say whether or not these precious creatures should be hunted.
