To the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island: Whereas, Robert Ghiz's new combined sales tax will increase the cost of goods and services that families and businesses buy every day, such as: adult clothing ,coffee, newspapers and magazines; gas at the pumps; and electricity; postage stamps; haircuts; dry cleaning; home renovations; veterinary care; and arena ice and soccer field rentals. We, the undersigned, petition the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island as follows: That the Robert Ghiz government wake up to Prince Edward Island's current economic reality and stop raising taxes, once and for all, on Prince Edward Island's hard-working families and businesses.
