STOP the Harassment by LOP Security, change the traffic violation policies

Although I don’t agree with all the problems stated in this petition, I do believe that the hoa has instructed our security guards to perform ridiculous tasks. I have been witness to a guard waiting with a radar gun to stop residents all while the Briarbrook entry gate was wide open for ANYONE to enter. I’m pretty sure when it was decided that we would be opening that gate for residents that we were told that there would be a guard positioned there for our safely. It seems that our HOA has decided that our safety is not as much of a concern as it is to police us as if we are habitual violators of laws. A zero tolerance policy on speed is unheard of, no REAL police officer would put their name on a ticket like that. There are absolutely things that need to be changed, now!

I support the petition. Also we need new leadership on the LOP board.

The LOP Board doesn’t seem to have priorities that match those of the community they “serve”. They’re spending all of this time and energy (to the angst of most of the community) on traffic enforcement, yet they avoid doing anything about the break-ins that are taking place inside LOP. Seems to me preventing breaking-ins would better serve the community. Does anyone agree?

I have seen security guards hiding behind trees and bushes with their radar guns a number of times. Is this the kind of place we want LOP to be?

The security officers are entirely superfluous during the day and the expense is a waste of valuable resources. Their job is not to harass residents especially in the morning rush hour traffic. Residents are on their way to work and cant be bothered with this kind of interference. Must be stopped.

I agree with having traffic rules and regulations, however some of these are stretched too far. LOP HOA must also address the security screening lapses at the main gate as well the unauthorized entries into the community from the side gate.

I am tired of this harrasmet and the security cop chasing residents like tons of accidents Have happens going over a mile or two over 25 mild or not full stop at stop sign ( so many unnecessary stops I don’t think they even looked at traffic flow ) . Whereas security at gate is not secured plus why residents be responsible for visitors. Glad this is being addressed. Thanks for all taking this initiative.

The residents are the owners of the properties in LOP. I do not recall ever voting on living in a military state. Making the residents financially responsible for others who enter LOP is not only naive but shows a complete lack of common sense.

Thourghly agree the actions taken by LOP security as endorsed and instructed by the HOA or safety committee are not what the majority of residents want and have failed to carry out the job of representing their community.
