I no longer visit the local shops in Southgate due to the increased traffic..I will now also boycott Green Lanes if the bus Lane goes ahead. The traffic and added pollution has already impacted Enfield.

I totally reject the bus lane restriction as it will increase the traffic on green lanes , also the local businesses that I have supported for years will suffer badly

Reducing a Green Lanes, in Palmers Green, to one Lane? It is our only through road, thanks to closing off the Lakes Estate roads. How will we get about? Total irresponsible Town planning.

It’s imperative that the council takes note of the disadvantage to all the local businesses if this plan goes ahead I personally have witnessed how much these bus lane and similar plans have affected local businesses and some have had to sell up at a loss and close How does this make sense. There will be more unemployed people which can lead to depending on the government for pocket money, getting depressed due to lack of finance and in worse cases suicide because people cannot cope The local businesses that will be affected have worked for years to achieve their goals in their businesses. It’s a very big shame that these efforts are not taken into account when such plans as proposed by Enfield council are not acknowledged Surely the lives and businesses here must have some rights in order to defend their businesses and constant efforts to succeed in life

I write in protest at the plans for increased hours on Green lanes bus lanes. It will not help buses as there is no real delay in this area, except at the times already covered. However extending hours may force all local traffic into alternate routes & increase pollution.

Complete objection. This is a classic example of tfl/Enfield traffic restriction creep, gradually pushing traffic off the road and favouring the obscene cost & fines which the borough/tfl are consistently inflicting on its population. The road is constricted enough as it is, with the cycle lane! etc.

Leave it as it is

Strongly against this...makes no sense whats so ever why this is required.. and the outcome will be residents living off green lanes will be stuck in further traffic in the morning behind lorries who are parked on their street doing deliveries and unloading...

People need to use cars sometimes. They can’t always get to where they need to by bus or bicycle without spending all day doing it. They have heavy items to carry. Local businesses need convenient parking near to them.
