I do not agree with a gas station or a liquor store near my neighborhood, the Renaissance Festival is more than enough for our neighborhood.

I am 100% against the building of a gas station and liquor store in the beautiful development of Durham Lakes. This would be a slap in the face to every family member in this community if this plan is approved. Such a structure / business would impact the quality of life of the members of this community. Research has shown Higher ozone levels can lead to respiratory problems and asthma, while benzene is a known cancer-causing chemical, according to the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The good citizens and tax payers of Fairburn need to be heard. This proposal needs to be denied!

This is despicable. I am offended that the land owners believes that a predominantly black community would not object to a liquor store in my back yard. Put a liquor store in your backyard.

We don't need another gas station with so many within a two mile radius. If the residents in the Durham Lakes area were white, this would not be happening. Just because this a black neighborhood does not give you the right to put a gas station/ liquor store here. We have enough. These people should be voted out of office next election because they are only doing what's best for them and the residents of Durham Lakes.

There is absolutely no reason why this should be built in this area when we have 2 liquor stores and gas stations at least 2-4 miles from here. Put it over on Senoia or in Old Fairburn.

As a homeowner in Durham Lakes I am against the building of a gas station/liquor store at the beginning of the neighborhood. I find it offensive that this would even be proposed or tried this close to a residential neighborhood. Think of our children and the effect this will have and the congestion this will cause.

We must stop this destruction of black communities. We do not need another liquor store in Fairburn. Have 3 already and more than enough gas stations in the city.

We'd like to keep this area residential. And we certainly don't need another liquor store in Fairburn.
