I am admittedly opposed to placing a liquor store and gas station at the entrance of our “quite family orientated community”. Not only is this proposal a slap in the face to Durham Lakes residents, it is also, in a broader sense, a direct assault on Fairburn’s motto – “Situated to Succeed”. Communities like Durham Lakes, the Parks, etc., are absolutely essential to Fairburn’s success in promoting Fairburn as a city that one would want to live and “do business” in. Would the person, or persons, proposing this development want, or agree, to placing a gas station or liquor store at the entrance to their community? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!

The thought of this is horrific and sad. Nearby schools, churches. Well kept tax paying subdivision homeowners that do no need to worry about their chrildren safety and crime and traffic. This will be a nuisance of loitering and crime.

We do not need ANY type of commercial business here, it is bad enough we have to deal with the crowd from the Renaissance Festival. NO GAS STATION, NO LIQUOR STORE

To whom this may concern, my family is outraged by the even thoughts of a Gas Station be placed so close to our community. We moved to this area for a good living environment for our children which by the way is 4 boys. If a Gas station or Liquor Store were in the said area we would not have invested in a new home in this community. We ask that you not approve this development.
Thank You,

These types of businesses are unwelcome and unwanted in our community. We value our families and our community, even if others do not. That's why we cannot sit by and allow this to happen.

I firmly oppose the building of a Gas Station and Liquor Store in close proximity to E.C. West Elementary School and the Durham Lakes Community.
