I’m a park ranger in Arlington and my livelihood is being threatened by a personal medical decision. I thought America was founded on freedom, not tyranny!

This is a part of the United Nations "Strong Cities" initiative. The globalist need to remove Americans from defending their neighborhoods to bring in a foreign (controllable) force that does not have an invested interest in America or our communities. First the globalist vilify our Peace Officers then move onto the next globalist (New World Order) plan.

This is wrong and it needs to stop. We are a free nation not to be dictated by government. This is not China or Russia.

Don’t eliminate or pick away at your most valuable resource. The very people who make up the public safety force that protect the citizens and visitors of Arlington County. Let’s also consider the substantial increase in overtime that will be created by multiple terminations, the mandatory holds that will be created, the current personnel who will be overworked and burned out, and the years it will take to hire quality employees, much less make up for years of valuable experience being walked out the door. This action is counter to Arlington’s commitment to employees. Do the right thing, stop firing employees, and provide opportunities to bring back those already termed, and make them whole for the betterment of Arlington County and the people being served.

Stop the mandate!

As a former ACFD firefighter I can tell you that the personnel you have are top notch. There is no better group of men and women that I have ever served with. The fact that these mandates are even being considered only shows that uneducated politicians are going to create impacts on their communities that will take decades to undo. This mandate is threatening the service and safety of all Arlington residents and should be stopped. The board members that are considering this should be embarrassed for themselves and resign. Mandates are being halted and losing in court Proceedings nationwide, Don’t become part of the America that people are fleeing. Be part of the America that will rise from the ashes that we are currently fighting. Shame on Arlington for even considering this option. Most of these personnel have had COVID and carry the antibodies. Remember who runs towards danger, remember who for years were declared heroes after 9/11 and remember who stepped up and served during EBOLA scares a few years ago. These are the men and women were and are there for you day in and day out. Support them, not political gamesmanship.

Putting the safety of citizens before a mandate for something that is not explainable is negligent government.

My husband has served Arlington County wearing the ACFD patch for well over thirty years. I am signing because this has become a set of political games and no longer about health and safety. The members of the ACFD and other County employees worked on the front lines during the worst of the pandemic, and now for political gain all levels of government have decided it would be correct to bully those same people. Shame on local leaders. You have praised to seem caring, but then decide to cause great harm. Stop the win/lose scenario you have constructed. You are going against what you say you stand for; and you are all bullying the people who serve the communities on your behalf.

We need them. This shot is not safe for everyone. I got my shot on March 2, 2021 and I have been sick ever since. I keep going to the doctor, but they do not know what to do. I thought the symptoms would go away over time. I have been told a second shot could kill me. Everyone one else who is blood related has had no problem. I have fibromyalgia and a compromised immune. I worry I will have to choose between loosing my job and possibly dying.

Terminating up to 10% of any workforce is an ill conceived idea, based on the TRUTH, and presents a much more serious risk to we Arlington County Citizens. Do your due diligence and realize what a blunder this approach would produce!!!! Not wise by any stretch of anyone's imagination!!!!

27 years of dedication tossed for an unproven treatment. Nothing says ‘trust the science’ like the FDA asking for the data to be hidden for 75 yrs.
