The SIC should be bending over backwards to help a local firm who over the years had trained many apprentices and provided stable employment for a hard working dedicated workforce

Oligarchs have been allowed free reign in this country since Thatcher signed up to the disastrous Financial Free Market Economic policy with Reagan, which allowed the banking crash. Time to stop the rot and corruption by greedy, greedy people, which sprang fully formed from that evil policy.

I support that: Shetland Leasing and Property Developments Limited to reconsider their sale and stop legal proceedings against HNP Engineers (Lerwick) Ltd.

Wasn’t sure what to think about this to begin with, I thought there are always two sides to every story. However after listening to Ian Walterson, Bobby Hunter and Jonathan Wills being interviewed separately by Radio Shetland, I am in full support of HNP. In my opinion Ian Walterson gave straight answers to straight questions, Bobby Hunter and Jonathan Wills came across as evasive and at times seemed to be getting annoyed at being questioned.

This whole charitable trust / SLAP thing is getting totally out of hand, they are now just a law unto themselves.

A "charitable" trust should put community before wheeling dealing. Ask them to produce the legally binding bid, dated prior to the closing date, that is higher than HNP's!!!!
